This Timelapse shows residential communities being constructed southeast of Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Since many cities in Florida contain master-planned communities — often built on top of former wetlands or waterways in the latter half of the twentieth century — there are a number of intricate designs that are visible from the Overview perspective. The total population of metropolitan Jacksonville is over 1.6 million, making it the most populous metro area in North Florida.
