Yesterday it was reported that “Dilbar” — the 512-foot (156-meter), $600 million mega-yacht owned by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov — was seized by German authorities from a shipyard in Hamburg. An update today from Forbes, who initially reported the seizure, said that that has not yet taken place. Usmanov is one of several Russian oligarchs who has been sanctioned by the European Union following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Sanctions have focused on travel bans, freezing of assets, and seizure of private jets and yachts like this one. “Dilbar” is the world's largest motor yacht by gross tonnage and is outfitted with a full-sized swimming pool, gym, spa, and two helicopter pads.Photos here show the ship:Docked at Port Vauban in Antibes, France beside standard size yachts.Outside the Port of Monaco during the country’s Formula One race.Docked at the shipyard in Hamburg, its current location.
