Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Rio de Janeiro is the second-largest city in Brazil, home to over 6.7 million residents. Its extraordinary geography features Sugarloaf Mountain at the mouth of Guanabara Bay, with the city sprawling outward from the iconic Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Dozens of ships dot the harbor, and the Rio–Niterói Bridge stretches across the bay, linking the two sides of this dynamic metropolis. At the top left of the image, Galeão International Airport marks the northern edge of the city.
