Earthquake Damage in Turkey and Syria
A powerful, magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey and Syria early this morning, causing heavy damage and thousands of casualties in the two countries. The first two Overviews seen here show the aftermath in Hatay, Turkey, where multiple buildings collapsed buildings and a fire broke out among toppled shipping containers. The third image shows rescue efforts in the village of Besnia, Syria.
